Your role at Clorox:

Conducts short term (0-2 months) supply planning and supply matching analysis and identifies strategies to gap fill

In this role, you will:

  • Drive weekly S&OE process across 1–3-month time horizon, implementing near-term planning against BU constrained forecast and integrated business plan.

  • Track execution, identify demand and supply gaps to S&OP plan, and drive balanced demand / supply resolution, in coordination with impacted functions.

  • Access / balance tradeoffs and strategies to meet near-term BU goals for escalation in BU Ops Mtg and to IBP Lead and GM as warranted.

  • Proactively identify and escalate risks forecast consumption, service levels, and inventory gap-to-target to deliver against the consensus demand plan and opportunities to improve delivery (e.g. higher service level, lower cost, etc) through BU Cockpit

  • Monitor inventory health and recast replenishment plans to prevent future service issues.

  • Trigger and co-lead allocation strategy & demand shaping actions.

  • Coordinate BU (e.g. BU LT / SC Squad) to ensure delivery of short term plan / escalation of issues

  • Acts as the primary downstream POC on S&OE plan for logistics and customer ops.

  • Coordinate with both Business Planning Mgr. / Network Planning Mgr. to flag trending issues that need to be incorporated into longer term supply plans going forward.

  • Actively champion and contribute to a community of like practitioner.

  • Line leads inventory planner (e.g. performance evaluations) and mentor, develop, and train team members

What we look for:

  • Business acumen / skills

  • Ability to synthesize disparate data into coherent, forward-looking business strategy and tactics for advancing business priorities, with management/LT support.

  • Strong financial competence, focused on working capital & P&L implications of overall supply chain and network balancing choices.

  • Strong analytic skillset and familiarity with data science applications, including: – In depth understanding of how to build an inventory strategy and the drivers that impact inventory strategy.

  • Able to analyze and diagnose core forecast drivers and understand impact on forecast with Iris tools.

  • In depth understanding of constraints and how they impact plan execution

  • Understanding of how a forecast model works, strengths / pitfalls of the ML model and the core elements of the model predictivity.

  • High fluency / dexterity in working with data.

  • Ability to recognize trends within data and translate that back into short-term demand & supply plan narrative.

  • Exposure to customer operations with capacity to be able to understand and respond to changes in demand drivers.

  • Strong understanding of E2E supply chain, potential tradeoffs, and impact on short term execution soft skills.

  • Executive communication and presence

This is a hybrid role, requires 3 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, in one of the following offices, Alpharetta, GA, Oakland, CA or Pleasanton, CA.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100

–Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300

–Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
