Description

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliation of accounts

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports

• Support senior accountants and management with various accounting projects and tasks as needed

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
