Job Title: Recruiter

A Light Industrial Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for positions in sectors like manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role:

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, and networking to find potential candidates.

  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the role.

  • Job Posting: Create and post job descriptions that attract qualified candidates.

  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their staffing needs and provide suitable candidates.

  • Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process, including orientation and training for new hires.

  • Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices comply with employment laws and regulations.

  • Reporting: Maintain and present weekly reports to leadership on recruitment activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in recruiting, especially in the light industrial sector, is often required.

  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

Hard Skills

  • Prior experience recruiting for machine operators/skilled trades

This is a contract position

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and some days remote.

Work Environment

The work environment is tight-knit and can be hybrid, with up to 3 days onsite. The team currently consists of 2 recruiters, with an additional recruiter starting in October.
