MAC Janitorial Supply Inc., in conjunction with Spartan Chemical Company, provides hospitality, food service and long-term care to industries with chemical programs and solutions that keep their facilities clean and safe.

This technician position is a field-based position, working independently to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain our chemical dispensing equipment as well as commercial dish machine and on-premises laundry machines.

This is a full-time position with benefits with a salary ranging from $21 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate would have a great work ethic, a positive attitude and be customer oriented while having a background in plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical programming experience. Candidate must have a clean, valid drivers license. No professional experience is required, training provided.

10% of this position *Install various chemical dilution systems in a commercial and industrial setting in accordance with health department standards; use of lock-out tagout procedures to ensure personal safety; being prepared with proper plumbing and electrical supplies.

50% of this position *traveling to customers to maintain ware-washing and laundry dispensing/dilution equipment. Ensuring proper function of machines and equipment as well as verifying and/or adjusting correct chemical dilutions by performing titrations and other chemical tests; maintain good working relationship with customers and be the face of the company both on the phone and in person. A company vehicle will be provided with proper tools and supplies.

40% of this position *perform routine maintenance, diagnosis, physical inspection, and repair on commercial and industrial janitorial equipment, for example Auto Scrubbers, extractors, vacuums. The ware-washing equipment which ranges from careful mechanical repair of bearings/bushing or seals to complex diagnosis of electrical components.

The hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, must also be available for emergency callout. References are REQUIRED at the time of application submission.
