JOB REQUIREMENTS: UWP Dining Services is busy for the summer of 2024. Not only are we hosting the Wisconsin Badgers for pre-season football practice, our summer activities are at an all-time high! The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is seeking Cooks to assist with our high dining needs over the summer and into the fall semester. Our Cooks perform routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cooking to order and preparing specialty foods, train and guide student workers, answers questions, and provide information regarding food preparation and associated activities. Cook are our leaders for cleaning, inspections, and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas. Our Dining Services staff all adhere to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
