Description

We are in search of a meticulous Paralegal to join our legal team in Plantation, Florida. The selected candidate will primarily assist with a variety of tasks including drafting legal documents, managing cases, and communicating with clients. This role is a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare legal documents with precision.

• Ensure efficient e-filing and e-file management.

• Regularly communicate with clients to keep them informed and address inquiries.

• Utilize case management software effectively for case tracking and management.

• Assist in client intake and intakes process.

• Draft correspondence as part of client communication.

• Manage calendars effectively to keep track of case schedules.

• Brief legal teams and clients on case progress.

• Ensure all legal documents are drafted and filed within stipulated timelines.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Paralegal.

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software is required.

• Experience in briefing and calendar management is essential.

• Possesses strong communication skills.

• Familiarity with e-Filing and e-File systems.

• Ability to draft correspondence, documents, and legal documents.

• Experience in client intake and intake procedures is required.

• Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good interpersonal skills, able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.

• Adaptable to change and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

• Eagerness to learn about new ideas and concepts.
