Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist/Accounts Receivable Specialist in the insurance industry. The role is based in Plantation, Florida and will be fully on site. As a Cash Application Specialist/Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Handle B2B collections and payment posting

• Perform data entry and documentation tasks

• Conduct account reconciliations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for functions such as creating pivot tables and using VLOOKUP

• Focus on cash applications and collections

• Assist in the conversion of manual processes

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Proficient in Cash Applications.

• Proficient in B2B Collections

• Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in B2B collections is required.

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with high accuracy.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation.

• Familiarity with Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions in Excel.

• Prior experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
