RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze user needs and software requirements, confer with data governance team and project managers to obtain information on capabilities and limitations of data processing projects.

  • Prepare reports concerning project specifications, milestones, and status.

  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers to design systems, and partner with multiple teams to successfully integrate end to end dataflows to achieve desired result.

  • Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes.

  • Creating a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control.

  • Apply knowledge of OTC Reg reporting process for program planning and develop strategies for business initiatives and operational improvements.

  • Analyze present-state gaps and address it, manage interface upgrades & performance improvements, and review alternative future-state approaches.

  • Perform data cleansing and analysis of large data sets in multiple formats (Relational database, Object Oriented Database, HDFS and Webservices) and experience with job schedulers & jiras.

  • Implement Risk Based approach and coming up with critical scenarios and get these approved by Dev and BA teams.

  • Set the priorities of the requirements to be covered.

  • Attend Scrum call and coming up with test deliverables such as Test plan, Test Scenarios and Entry Exit criteria based on the discussions.

  • Support UAT testing by UAT environment setup, generating reports with SQL and Python, data setup for special cases and addressing user queries.

  • Handle multiple waterfall and agile projects and involving in all stages of these methodologies.

  • Design and develop automation scripts of different application types (Backend & Front end) using multiple tools/platforms like Quartz and Selenium.

  • Analyze the automation scripting cost (development and maintenance), cost savings and return on investment to get the approval from client manager.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
