JPMorgan Chase Treasury Vice President in Plano, Texas

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Finance and Business Management ("AWM F&BM") has a new opening on the Treasury team based in Plano, TX. The AWM Capital Management Team (AWM CMT) is responsible for planning, forecasting and reporting of capital usage by AWM (under Basel and other regulatory frameworks) and supporting new business and capital efficiency initiatives. AWM CMT is also responsible for stress testing AWM business' income earning potential and balance sheet positions in internally derived and regulatory prescribed scenarios (i.e., Risk Appetite, CCAR/DFAST) and other valuation deliverables (i.e., Goodwill, Recovery and Resolution). This role will have particular focus to the lending activities of the Global Private Bank (GPB), one of AWMs' two lines of business

As a member of the Treasury team, you will help us maintain fortress balance sheet and ensure our business would remain in a strong position during a time of stress. You will help the business achieve target Return on Equity (ROE) with limited earnings volatility through capital and interest rate risk expertise.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead stress forecasting deliverables through development and maintenance of financial models in Excel and strategic platforms

  • Support Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) securitizations and other capitalefficiency and new business initiatives in GPB's lending business (applying both product and regulatory capital knowledge)

  • Execute quantitative models and provide analysis on results .

  • Development and maintenance of forecasting methodologies and implementation in in Excel and strategic platforms

  • Support capital-related planning,forecasting and reporting

  • Work with quantitative modeling teams on model designand implementation

  • Partner with Risk, Finance, Business, Operations and Technology functions to timely meet deliverables with visibility to senior management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Thoroughness and attention to detail and high level of accuracy given contribution to regulatory submissions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly strength in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Skills in communication, writing, organization, and time management

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to manage multiple projects within concurrent deadlines

  • 5+ years working experience, ideally in financial planning or accounting, and in the financial services industry is a benefit

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of lending products, bank regulatory requirements/frameworks including Basel RWA and CCAR stress

  • Interest in working with data sets, data mining, and analytics

  • A desire to partner with diverse teams and work in a team environment to ensure business objectives are met

  • Knowledge of systems and technology; skills in Essbase, Tableau, and Alteryx would be beneficial
