Title: Patient Access Trainer

Location: TX-PLANO, 3033 W PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH HWY, STE 100. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.

Shift: Onsite Monday - Friday, standard business hours.

The Patient Access Trainer is responsible for facilitating performance-based learning events focused primarily on concrete skills related to operations processes.

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature and across multiple platforms.

• Assists in rapid course development methodologies.

• Exercises classroom management, including learner performance and escalates issues to Learning & Development and client leadership when necessary.

• Assists in completion of service level agreements, participates and assists in identifying training needs to determine appropriate learning solutions.

• Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction.

• Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally that drive learner effectiveness.

• Keeps technical skills updated.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BA/BS in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Experience with referral processing, intake, prior authorization, calculating costs, and/or co-pay assistance.

• Previous training experience.

• Leadership experience.

• Experience with NextGen.

• Experience creating training materials using PowerPoint.

• Ability to travel up to 10%, as needed.
