Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer in the detail oriented Services industry, based in Plano, Texas. In this role, you'll focus on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based microservices architecture applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes, all while staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based architectures on the GCP cloud.

• Implement microservices architecture solutions to support cloud-based applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Containerize microservices using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes for deployment and management.

• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues related to scalability, availability, and latency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, and infrastructure to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality scalable software solutions.

• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and mentor entry level team members to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud computing and microservices architecture.

• Provide support for the resolution of production problems.

• Utilize skills in Apache Struts, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS to perform duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in programming languages such as Apache Struts and C++

• Strong knowledge of Database concepts and management

• Experience with EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Hibernate ORM

• Proficiency in AB Testing methodologies

• Experience with Ajax for client-side web development

• Proven expertise in API Development

• Knowledge of ASP.NET for web application development

• Proficiency in CSS for web design and layout

• Ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus
