Description We are extending an invitation to experienced professionals in the Financial Services industry for the role of Senior Security Architect. The position is based in PLANO, Texas, 75024, United States. As a Senior Security Architect, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our information assets and systems by designing and implementing robust security strategies.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing a cohesive security strategy in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders

• Identifying, evaluating, and reporting on information assets and information security threats and vulnerabilities

• Creating security architectures for both new and existing systems

• Monitoring industry trends and threat landscapes, recommending necessary controls or countermeasures in collaboration with the Security Operations Team

• Evaluating, selecting, and deploying security tools and technologies

• Acting as the subject matter expert for architectural designs of information security and technology tools and systems

• Developing and implementing policies and procedures in partnership with relevant stakeholders to meet business goals for productivity, profitability, and security

• Collaborating with risk management, compliance, and audit teams to ensure alignment between security and compliance strategies

• Developing and maintaining documentation related to the organization's security architecture, design, and practices

• Refining security policies, standards, and guidelines, and contributing to their development

• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to security team members while staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity best practices, technologies, and trends

• Managing key deliverables for Information Security and business leadership, including team dashboard or performance reporting. Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

• Proficiency in Security Architecture is a must.

• Strong understanding and application of Network Security required.

• Knowledge of Information - Network Security is essential.

• Ability to perform Advanced Threat Detection is mandatory.

• Experience in developing and implementing Security strategy is required.
