SCHEDULE: Full-time; 2030-0700 Monday through Thursday for 40 Hours; 4-10 hour shifts

HERE's WHAT YOU NEED: EDUCATION: · Diploma of Nursing OR associate degree in nursing required. · BSN preferred. · CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required EXPERIENCE: · One Year experience as a clinical nurse · Surgery experience preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: · RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required · BCLS—Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon—prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly. · ACLS—Advanced Cardiac Life Support—within 90 days of hire required. WHAT YOU WILL NEED DO: · Complete regular assessments and maintenance of comfort · Have knowledge of basic physiology and pathophysiology · Have knowledge of pain and suffering, pain interventions and pain comfort/theories. · Use barcode medication verification (BMV) during medication administrations · Complete accurate documentation in the electronic health record · Complete assessments accurately and in a timely manner · Individualize care plans specific to the needs of the patient · Perform other duties as assigned MORE ABOUT TEXAS HEALTH PLANO Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano is a 386-bed, Magnet-designated hospital and a recognized clinical leader, providing technologically advanced care to Plano, Frisco and surrounding communities since 1991. • Oncology Program is accredited through the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer
