Job Description

A Fortune 100 client is looking to hire an experienced react native engineer. There is a large mobile enabled application that is experiencing performance issues, especially in low-end devices (<3GB memory). This engineer would be the point person to analyze and optimize the application's performance. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Optimize mobile app performance to ensure smooth and efficient user experiences for a mobile app developed in React Native in both iOS and Android

Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a React Native developer with a strong portfolio of mobile apps.

Expertise in mobile app performance optimization techniques.

Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frameworks.

Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
