Robert Half Paralegal in Plano, Texas
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our client's team based in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be part of the legal and compliance team, providing extensive legal support with a focus on contract management and other administrative duties. The paralegal will be instrumental in coordinating the entire contract lifecycle and managing logistics business-related licenses and insurance. This is a full-time position with hybrid work options.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process budget requests, invoices, expenses, and reimbursements
• Maintain and update logistics-related licenses and insurance policies
• Prepare and organize meetings, events, presentations, and reports
• Review, draft, edit and analyze various types of contracts, including NDAs, logistics services agreements, transportation agreements, warehouse management agreements
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding contract-related matters
• Handle amendments and supplemental agreements of existing contracts to accommodate changes in business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions
• Act as the point of contact for contract-related discussions, and serve as key liaison between corporate counsel and other stakeholders
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, and termination processes
• Maintain accurate and organized contract records
• Conduct legal research on laws and regulations specific to the logistics and transportation industry
• Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the logistics industry
• Assist in other legal matters such as litigation, claims, and other disputes
• Develop and provide contract/legal training to internal clients in a clear and understandable manner.
Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat software
• Demonstrated experience in managing contracts
• Capable of drafting and interpreting legal documents
• Strong background in conducting legal research
• Knowledge of legal compliance regulations and procedures
• Experience in logistics management
• Proven skills in contract negotiations
• Certified Paralegal or relevant work experience in a similar role
