Job Summary

The Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is in charge of data strategy, analytics, reporting, and governance across the firm's CAO functions. Our team aims to manage data assets, surface insights from data to promote business goals, enhance analytics, and streamline reporting. The Data Strategy team within the CAO CDAO is responsible for developing and executing the group's overall strategy, managing special projects, and communicating team achievements. We are seeking a Data Strategy & Business Operations Associate with strong communication skills, comfortable handling multiple projects, and capable of aligning priorities across the CAO CDAO and CAO business groups..

As a Data Strategy & Business Operations Associate within the CAO CDAO, you will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement, delivering executive-level presentations, and coordinating with various business and corporate functions. You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of priority CAO initiatives and objectives, and will have the opportunity to influence and shape the data strategy of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement, status updates, and issue escalation

  • Partner with senior stakeholders and CAO CDAO leadership team to support the delivery of priority CAO initiatives and objectives

  • Deliver executive-level PowerPoint presentations that are clear, direct, and visually pleasing, in support of both high-priority strategic initiatives and general updates

  • Run communications for senior leaders across the firm, adequately communicating the teams strategy, achievements, and project outcomes

  • Work with business stakeholders, Data Strategy, and CAO CDAO leads to understand and translate key business needs into a clear, actionable project demand and track overall book of work and achievements for the team

  • Coordinate and participate in forums between key stakeholders to discuss development, socialization, and implementation of issues

  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with the lines of business and corporate functions areas (e.g. External Reporting, Operations, Technology and Lines of Business)

  • Enhance the above with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Execute the above processes with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness of meeting deliverables on prescribed timetables / calendars

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 4+ years of relevant industry knowledge, ideally coupled with consulting, corporate strategy, or financial and business management experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare executive-level presentations from limited or highly-detailed information

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint in particular) required

  • Advanced organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills with an ability to work independently

  • Intermediate to advanced analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to derive meaningful insights and actions from data

  • Experience coordinating projects or processes across multiple teams/constituents

  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills - with an ability to influence

  • Must be comfortable speaking to Senior Management and presenting ideas

  • Ability to run meetings across diverse functions, locations, and businesses

  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • MBA a plus

  • Consulting background a plus

  • Experience within Product Management, Corporate Strategy, or Business Analyst role in the past preferred

  • General understanding of data systems, data structures, and Business Intelligence a plus
