JPMorgan Chase Corporate Third Party Oversight- Governance - Vice President in Plano, Texas
JPMC's Corporate Third-Party Oversight (CTPO) is a function within Global Supplier Services (GSS) responsible for defining and implementing supplier/third party oversight (TPO) and Inter-Affiliate Oversight (IAO) Programs across the firm. As a member of the CTPO Governance team you will be responsible for maintaining the central third-party oversight Program framework through policy design. You will report to the Executive Director of Governance and be responsible for driving overall Program objectives with a focus on the Policy, Standards and related Guidance documents so direct and proven experience writing policies and leading a program based on regulation is a must. You will also play a key role in leading related strategic projects and initiatives. Proven ability to execute and deliver business results while operating in a complex, global, regulatory environment is required. This role is also responsible for assessing regulatory requirements for applicability to the CTPO Program and designing and implementing related solutions supported by Standards. Governance activities may also include administering changes to Policy and Standards, re-certifications, leading related forums and developing productive relationships with stakeholders across regions.
Job Responsibilities
Act as the Program's subject matter expert (SME) and point of contact for the firmwide TPO and IAO Programs (focus on IAO)
Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across all regions
Draft policies and standards. Maintain accurate Program requirements within all CTPO Program documentation
Support and liaise with key Program stakeholders (e.g. LOBs, Compliance, Controls, Legal, Category Sourcing, regional teams) to solution required changes to Program documentation; Respond to various Line of Business (LOB) requests/inquires, developing and delivering timely and well thought out and sustainable solutions
Prepare and respond to Change Management requests
Lead projects (transformational and BAU) to meet Governance goals and objectives
Prepare and present materials that socialize CTPO Program documentation changes with the requisite governance bodies and forums
Manage and maintain program re-certifications and exception requests
Provide support on various Program and process improvement initiatives to ensure such efforts are appropriately configured to mitigate conflicts with CTPO Program documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements to deliver increasing operational efficiency in the processes
Support CTPO exams, requests for information and internal consultation paper responses as needed
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Bachelor's or Law degree and/ or 3-5 years management experience.
Proven experience building and implementing third party risk management programs in complex and matrixed organizations
Experience mapping regulatory requirements
Must have global stakeholder management experience; demonstrate expertise in leading large scale programs
Well organized, independent self-starter, capable of self-prioritization
Outstanding listening and negotiation skills; strong written and verbal skills are essential
Team player who is collaborative, positive and has proven problem-solving abilities is a must
Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
3-5 years' experience authoring and/or managing policies, standards, and/or senior program management experience. Consulting experience also preferred.
Working knowledge of JPMC's risk and controls structure, IT risk or operational risk areas desired
Knowledge of JPMC's TPO and IAO Programs including inter-affiliate arrangements
