Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Crew Lead to join a full-service Engineering Consulting company located in Plainville CT. The role is 100% on-site and the ideal candidate will be on-site 5 days a week. The majority of this person's time will be spent at a client site in East Hartford, CT. This person should have 5+ years of experience in an industrial, commercial or municipal piping setting. The Mechanical Crew Lead will have a variety of duties including: leading a team of 2-3 junior level technicians, and hands on work with plastic pipes, metal pipes, pump repairs, tubing, secondary contained piping, and general plumbing.

Skills and Requirements

• Proficient in installing both metal and plastic piping for all applications (compressed air/gases, water, etc)

• Experience with power tools

• Experience with fabrication

• Experience with air operated and electric pumps - Journeyman experience

• Able to adhere to strict safety protocols

• Ability to work for aerospace clients without restrictions null
