Schivo Medical CNC Machine Operator in Plainview, New York

Operate CNC Machine Operator and inspect finished parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection) Change tools. Make offsets. Load material and remove scrap. Fill out various paperwork. Simultaneous operation of multiple machines Minor troubleshooting Part inspection Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications): 2/4 years experience with lathe/mill turning machines. Experience using the Fanuc control preferred.
Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols). Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques. Ability to read and write English.
