Job Title: Tower Technician
Job Description
Join the Wireless Division as a Tower Technician and work with a great team! We are recruiting Tower Technicians at all experience levels. We have the work, and we need you to join the team!
Responsibilities
Climb daily to heights up to 1000 ft.
Perform installation of antennas, mounts, cable ladders, cable, etc.
Assist in testing of sites.
Participate in new tower construction.
Perform routine and special circumstance tower maintenance.
Assist in troubleshooting a variety of systems from cell sites to lighting systems.
Essential Skills
Comfortable with high heights.
Comfortable with traveling.
No problem with working outdoors and in non-climate controlled environments.
Experience as a Tower Technician/Tower Climber.
Experience in splicing, installations, and tower maintenance.
Military or telecommunications background.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Cellular Tower/Broadcast Tower construction and maintenance experience is a plus.
General tower safety knowledge and ability to utilize 100% tie-off techniques at all times.
Mechanically inclined.
Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
Must be willing to travel up to 2 weeks at a time and able to work within a non-structured schedule, including long hours and some weekends.
Boom Truck certifications a plus.
Rigging experience a plus.

Work Environment
This role involves working outside and is weather dependent. It requires climbing and working at significant heights, often in non-climate controlled environments. Traveling is a significant part of the job, with stays up to 2 weeks at a time. Crew leads receive their own hotel room while other team members may share accommodations.
