Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and manage the maintenance team consisting of 4 Maintenance Technician II's. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will still be responsible for performing Maintenance Technician duties. You will develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules to optimize performance and minimize downtime, train and develop team members, conduct regular inspections, collaborate with other departments, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with safety standards, seek opportunities for process improvement, and participate in budget planning and cost control measures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 4 Maintenance Technician II's

• Perform hands-on Maintenance Technician duties

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules

• Train and develop maintenance team members

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks

• Collaborate with other departments and teams

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts

• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

• Seek opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

• Participate in budget planning and cost control measures

Essential Skills

• Experience in maintenance supervision

• Experience managing 2-5 other technicians

• 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician

• Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, repair, industrial maintenance, and maintenance repair

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse maintenance experience

• Technician experience

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled distribution center. The role is for the 2nd shift with flexible hours, averaging 45-50 hours per week. Ideal working hours are from 5:00/6:00 PM to 2:00/3:00 AM, Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Plainfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
