Guardian Life Internal Wholesaler - Individual Disability in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
The Internal DI Wholesaler is the disability insurance product and illustration expert who manages the development and execution of Career Agency and Brokerage specific tools and activities for use by agencies and Disability Income Specialists (DIS), including conceptualizing and creation of Drip Campaigns, virtual meetings, prospecting tools and methods, presentations, scripts/talking points and marketing plans and case design!

Exceptional communicator with advisors, agency personnel, general agents and internal partners
You will
Identify specific business opportunities and promote them to general agencies by both soliciting ideas and engaging the support of key partners.
Be the product knowledge and illustration presentation expert in the Home Office
Develop and provide ongoing support of initial sales activities for new agencies and provide updates to key partners on results of activities, initiatives and campaigns.
Deliver subject matter expertise in personal and business use of Individual Disability Insurance products.
Assist with brokerage business development by formulating and implementing requisite strategies and programs that differentiate Berkshire/Guardian and its General Agencies in Individual Disability Insurance
Develop tools such as marketing pieces and strategies, marketing plans and scripts
Identify and leverage opportunities and engage and create connections between Key Stakeholders (Regional Wholesalers, Internal Wholesalers, Disability Specialists, Agency Leaders and Marketing teams).
You have
Disability Insurance knowledge
Prior Wholesaling experience is a strong plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance industry experience
Necessary Insurance licenses or ability to obtain within 6-months
Strong relationship and consultative management skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and collaboration skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Curiosity to ask the right questions to uncover client needs
Goal and results-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
Problem-solving skills
