Remote Status: On-Site Coordinator of the Family Support Center (FSC) Job Type: Full time/Salaried Job Location: North Adams, MA in office with local area travel \$1,500 Sign-on Bonus POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: The Coordinator of Family Support Center oversee all intakes and Family Support Center (FSC) operations including DDS training and FSC programming. The goal of this role is to expand UCP member driven programming so that UCP provides a wide range of general family support services and activities which meet the interests and needs of familiesof children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: 1. Develop/coordinate all FS trainings for members and families under the FSC contract 2. Support and empower families to develop leadership skills and offer timely and relevant advice and information to allregarding available resources. 3. Arrange for and provide a variety of support services for families and individuals. 4. Serve as a contact for families experiencing crisis and coordinate of emergency services. 5. FSC programming for recreational activities 6. Family Support Intakes 7. Assist families in applying for DDS eligibility and aid and support families throughout the intake process. 8. Complete FSC semi-annual state report under the DDS FSC contract. 9. Perform quality assurance reviews for contracted members best matched to the specific needs as indicated in the FSC contract. 10. Train, instruct, assign, schedule, supervise, evaluate performance, and monitor work of assigned staff who work in theCenter. 11. Identify and create partnerships with community organizations with attention to those who provide culturally responsiveservices. QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or higher-level degree in related human services field preferred. - 2+ years experience in a human service agency providing program services, or a minimum of three years general experiencein human service- related employment field. - One-year supervisory experience - Case management and group facilitation experience - Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of member including scheduled evenings and weekends. - Knowledge of local community resources and community-based providers, and UCP programming - Ability to maintain Adult/Child CPR and First Aid certification. - Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Zoom, Teams, etc. - A valid driver\'s license, proof of insurance and the availability of a private vehicle - Acceptable CORI, SORI and DPPC background checks and national fingerprint check.
