Our interns are matched to projects based on abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.

What will you do?

Our Treasury Internship is a summer program crafted for rising seniors. Interns will be matched to a project based on their skills and Treasury needs.

Our intern projects are crafted to give you real-world Treasury experience and project responsibility in a global organization. In addition to being assigned to a manager and team, you will get additional opportunities to experience our workplace culture with exposure to finance leaders.

How will you get here?

  • Undergraduate student completing bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and/or other related fields between December 2025 and June 2026

  • 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.

  • Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.

  • Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Projects and Responsibilities could focus on the following Treasury functions:

  • Cash Forecasting

  • Cash Reporting

  • Non-Pool Cash Optimization

  • Bank Fee Analysis

  • Payment Method Review

  • Interest Income

  • Exposure to Treasury Management System

  • Treasury Email Box Support

  • Organizing Treasury Records

  • Supporting Treasury Analysts with Daily Duties and Projects

  • Other Ad-hoc Projects and Reports

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills and high attention to detail

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Proven experience with operational improvement

  • Results oriented through initiative, ownership, and accountability

Start Date: This internship is set to begin on either May 12th or June 16th, 2025 for a duration of 10-12 weeks – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.

Compensation & Relocation: Our undergraduate internships offer an hourly rate between $18.50 - $24.00 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status. Thermo Fisher does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.
