GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This is an On-Site position under the supervision of the TeleICU Director or designee performs a variety of complex and routine clinical, clerical and support duties for the TeleICU program.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains TeleICU database and assist in communicating accurate patient information to the healthcare team maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Assists in the management of patient information in the TeleICU. Retrieves patient data from hospital systems, maintains patient census, and identifies trending issues on an ongoing basis; reports trending concerns to Tele ICU RN.

• Responsible for collecting data between the Virtual ICU and ICU departments to improve ICU patient care delivery.

• Reports clinical, administrative or technical problems using a defined reporting process.

• Participates in the TeleICU growth initiatives, promotes team building and positive working environment within the Virtual Health Center and acute care hospitals.

• Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• High School / GED

• 1 year in the Healthcare field

Preferred

• Associates' Degree in Healthcare

SKILLS

• Proficiency with Windows-based computer skills and operations

• Effective communication skills

• Self motivated, and organized

• Detailed oriented

• EMR-Cerner/EPIC
