As such, we are currently looking to hire Agile Coaches across various technology groups to guide and support our organization through this transition. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our company and help foster a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement. You will have an impact in following ways: The Agile Coach Lead will lead agile implementation, evangelizing core Agile principles in the organization; encourages, empowers, and coaches leadership and Agile Coaches within the Product / Platform Group Build and coach agile development team at scale Look for ways to strengthen Product / Platform Group's understanding of Agile, e.g., Scrum concepts and principles Teach, mentor and improve Agile practices across the organization Coach and train senior leadership on building an Agile enterprise that is more focused on business value, driving outcomes, and a faster time to market Drive consistent behaviors across the organization by standing up a community of practice Bring transparency to the organization about development and grow trust Monitor health of the Product / Platform Group to understand adoption & adapt where needed Coach the leadership team to identify trade-offs between short and long term benefits to drive shared vision Foster a continuous learning environment, pressure and embrace the uncomfortable, and help teams to inspect & adapt Agile experience and expertise Deep knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt their experience to new and evolving environments Experience with large scale software delivery and/or Agile transformation at scale in large enterprise organizations Passion for driving teams towards high performance and a deep pride in quality craftsmanship that delights users Experience leading (and ideally transforming) design organizations within IT or "tech-first" organizations Preferred to have Agile certifications including SAFe RTE, SPC, CSM. Individual skills Communication skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts Active coach, with an ability to promote innovative thinking and self-improvement within teams Mindset & Behaviors High-energy and passionate outlook, with an ability to influence those around them Passionate about understanding people / teams in various  stages of Agile environment Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 10-12 years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
