FPGA Software Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring successful on-time, on-budget delivery of an engineering and FPGA software solutions. This role involves prioritizing and monitoring software problem report status, and executing tasks within functional areas that include engineering and software development activities. The candidate will facilitate scope/requirement discussions with technical teams and customers and actively participate in creating an optimal overall project technical solution.

Essential Skills

• 6+ years of experience as an FPGA software engineer for large software control system applications.

• Strong experience with programming language VHDL.

• Some experience with programming language C or C++.

• Experience working with Altera and Xilinx processors.

• Strong debugging skill set.

• Extensive understanding and/or prior experience with software development lifecycles, delivery, and HW/SW integration lifecycles.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and manage tasking of cross-functional teams of varying skills/experience.

• Success with multi-tasking across multiple projects at a given time.

• Ability to build effective relationships and exceptional communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Work Environment

Cubicle work environment with a hybrid schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
