Job Description

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team for an upcoming sprint focused on the Positive Train Control (PTC) product. This role involves working on embedded systems using C programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for embedded systems using C programming.

• Participate in requirements-based development.

• Collaborate with tenured staff and work effectively within a team environment.

• Utilize software configuration management systems.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of networked communications such as Ethernet, serial, MVB, or other.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• 1-5 years of experience in programming C embedded systems

• Fluent communication and writing skills

• Experience with requirements-based development

• Familiarity with software configuration management systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with LINUX programming in Windows and/or embedded systems

• Experience with Python programming

• Experience in the rail industry

• Experience working with networked communications (Ethernet, serial, MVB, or other)

Work Environment

This position follows a hybrid work schedule with 2 days on-site. The role involves working with advanced embedded systems technology within a collaborative team environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
