JOB SUMMARY

This position will provide strong consultative, project management, stakeholder management, communication, and learning and development consultation. Will provide complex solutions for designing and delivering talent development programs working with senior management and executive leaders.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide consulting services to the organization, conduct interviews, and discovery meetings with senior/executive management, HR, and process owners to gather requirements and identify performance gaps, performance improvement, or learning and development needs. Develops and maintains relationships with clients and conceptualizes solutions to their problems that lead to effective training, development, or consulting opportunities. Analyzes organizational situations, examines problem-solving approaches, and develops training and non-training interventions. Detects performance gaps and helps client groups to close the gaps between actual and ideal performance. Contribute to company-wide change management efforts as needed, including solutions for employee engagement, leadership teambuilding, and development, communications, culture change.

  • Works closely with client area, and subject matter experts to lead training, development, or consulting projects which are complex in nature; conducts needs analysis, gathers data, assigns tasks to project team members, and sets project milestones. Serves as primary client contact and manages relationships for defined scope(s) of work to ensure responsiveness to client needs. Strategic oversight and direction of internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of deliverables, including management of program team if applicable. Manage program resources, relationships and communication with project team, participants, customers, executive sponsor(s), steering committee(s), and other stakeholders. Develop program strategy, scope, goals, objectives and metrics ensuring they align with the talent and organizational strategy and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation accounting for the design and end to end process of the program. Accountable for overall performance and delivery of a defined scope(s) of work with strict adherence to customer satisfaction goals, quality standards for training products and/or services, and other such criteria and measures as may be designated. Measure and report to leaders up to Executive on project analytics, metrics and outcomes. Perform risk mitigation and change management activities.

  • Design and develop learning solutions. Design, develop, and evaluate in-person and on-line training using a variety of development tools. Create job aids, manuals, simulations, case studies, role plays to achieve defined desired learning objectives.Lead, influence or negotiate others to achieve desired work results; utilize excellent client interaction and advisory skills. Work effectively with others to achieve common goals and exercises effective interpersonal influence. Facilitate high-impact presentations and trainings, process and project meetings, and influences at various levels (including Executive Leaders). Present program updates to leadership (including Executive Leaders) and other key stakeholders demonstrating advanced presentation skills.

  • Mentors and coaches other team members to enhance performance and encourage professional development as requested. Communicates, leads, and influence/negotiates with others to achieve decided work results by utilizing excellent client interaction and advisory skills. Works effectively with others to achieve common goals and exercise effective interpersonal influence.

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 6 – 8+ years of consultant experience

  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in Instructional Design

  • 2 years of experience in Facilitation

  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in Leadership Development OR

  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in Project/Product Management/Stakeholder Management

Preferred

  • 2 years of experience in HR - Specifically Talent Management

  • 2 years of experience in Mentoring & Coaching

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, ability to build rapport and trust, conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Critical thinking, analytical skills, ability to identify root causes of problems, develop creative solutions, and assess the impact of proposed solutions

  • Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects on time and within budget, manage resources, track progress, and mitigate risks.

  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate project teams, delegate tasks, and provide feedback.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Project Management, Learning & Development or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Substitutions

  • 10+ years consulting, managing projects, and working with executive leadership to design, develop, and deliver talent solutions across large organizations.

Preferred

  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, Project Management, Learning & Development
