Join Our Team as a Full-Time Nursing Assistant!

Scheduling requirements include availability for rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

The position offers opportunities for growth, with a clear career ladder from Nursing Assistant to Patient Care Technician - Lead. A starting pay rate of $18.40/hour for Nursing Assistants is offered, based on experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living, basic patient care, point-of-care testing, vital signs, telemetry monitoring, specimen collection.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Successful completion of UPMC nursing assistant or EIC training program after hire

• Nursing Students or those with EMT experience preferred

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Clearances with renewal:

• Act 31, 33, 34, 73
