The Office of Online Learning supports SHRS departments in the development of fully online or hybrid degree-granting programs or certificates, as well as continuing education initiatives. OOL staff lead schoolwide and internal projects to disseminate best practices for online learning.

3-5 years working in higher education instructional design is preferred.

Job Summary

 

Consult with educators on the design, development, and delivery of moderately complex instructional materials and the integration of instructional technologies.

 

Essential Functions

    • Consults with program owners about course design and the development of materials for online and hybrid delivery.
    • Analyzes the effectiveness of curricula, instructional materials and recommends changes.
    • Creates course development plans.
    • Edits course materials.
    • Selects appropriate technologies for course development.

Physical Effort
