Robert Half HR Coordinator in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description

Our client in Strip District area of Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled and organized Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to support our HR department. This is a contract to hire opportunity. The HR Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, from recruitment and employee onboarding to benefits administration and training coordination. (Position will be onsite and Free Parking is provided or bus accessible) Pay: $18-20. Hours: 8AM - 4PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including conducting reference checks and scheduling interviews.

Maintain employee records and perform HRIS data entries to ensure accurate documentation.

Respond to internal and external HR inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Resolve benefits and payroll-related issues, providing support to employees as needed.

Coordinate training sessions and support employee development initiatives.

Administer benefits plans, including managing changes and enrollments.

Collaborate with HR staff on various projects and initiatives to enhance HR operations.

Qualifications:

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.

Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.

Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is preferred.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software

• Knowledge of About Time software

• Ability to conduct Auditing and Background Checks

• Experience in managing Benefit Functions

• Strong Communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
