Job Summary

Directs production, service, and site materials operations of LifeVest and Cardiac Diagnostics product families, continuous improvement and key support functions of Industrial Engineering, electro-mechanical technicians, employee training. Collaborates with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure operations deliver devices (production and service) to meet divisional revenue targets and improve safety, quality, and profitability. Identifies ways to improve processes and increase productivity. Leads the Talent management effort for direct reports, ensuring on time delivery of reviews, development plans, and identification of high potential performers. Serves as Operations SME on production and service operations procedures ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and training effectiveness.

Essential Functions Has leadership accountability for the performance of global new device production operations, advanced service operations, Cardiac Diagnostic order fulfillment, continuous improvement of overall production & service operations, operations training, enterprise systems deployment and management, machine maintenance, asset utilization, total costs, and business risk. Responsible for optimizing, sourcing, managing risk, defining requirements, launching, directing, and coordinating the activities of production & service, site materials, enterprise operations, plant support, continuous improvement and operations training teams. Accountable for creating a safety culture, implementing standards, improving ergonomics, escalating events, and promoting hazard identification and problem solving at the production team level. Responsible for execution of U.S. and International new device production and advanced service operations strategies to meet business objectives. Achieves operational objectives by establishing strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, managing employee performance, defining requirements, resolving problems, conducting audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing changes. Responsible for analyzing plant capacity data to direct/determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Responsible for meeting throughput targets to ensure both service and new device production are accomplished in a timely manner. Responsible for execution, analysis, and improvement of warehouse and materials processes, space utilization, inventory accuracy (cycle counting), and system/transactional integrity. Responsible for staffing the production, service, and materials operations to proper levels and leading employees' development to assume greater responsibility in the future. Work with the Production and Materials Managers and supervisors managing he workload of all staff members within the team and help them manage/develop their teams. Understands appropriate legal and regulatory boundaries in the areas of production and advanced service operations, and to establish processes and controls to ensure compliance.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required MBA a strong plus Over 15 years of relevant business experience, including significant strategy development and project management, plus at least 7 years of management/leadership experience with a proven record of achievement. required
