DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Corporate Commercial Excellence Director, you will be responsible for conceiving and implementing companywide commercial excellence programs that improve the capability and productivity of the global sales organization across our Strategic Business Units (SBUs) for PPG to build a growth culture and deliver on our organic growth goals.

Working directly with stakeholders in the business's top management, commercial and marketing teams, commercial excellence teams, and corporate strategy & growth team, you will will be involved in a wide variety of analyses and activities, and you will report to the Global Head of Corporate Strategy and Market Driven Innovation.

Key Responsibilities * Design and execute global Commercial Excellence programs. Initiate, plan, and coordinate analyses and programs from inception to completion in support of businesses strategies and organic growth goals. Align program goals with the organization's long-term strategy. * Work together with commercial excellence teams, commercial and marketing teams, human resources team, digital and IT team, corporate communications and SBU stakeholders to ensure successful decisions and program delivery. * Work closely with SBUs to identify commercial excellence opportunities and initiatives within our current environment and future directions, including processes & cadences, tools, and people capabilities and incentives. * Conduct research and benchmark analysis to identify best practice commercial excellence initiatives and improvement opportunities for PPG to build a growth culture and deliver on our organic growth goals. * Be a project manager leading the implementation of key global commercial excellence initiatives and change management communications across Corporate and SBUs. * Conduct research and analysis to identify different vendors to support building commercial excellence programs such as customer surveys, skill assessment and competency-based trainings. * There will be no direct reports; This is a remote position.

Qualifications * A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or related field. MBA and PMO certification preferred. * 10+ years of experience in commercial, marketing, or sales role. * 5+ years of experience in commercial excellence or equivalent role; developing and implementing companywide sales excellence programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities and efficiencies of sellers and other revenue roles. * Relevant sales insight, including an understanding of our B2B/B2C sales cycles and functions and direct experience in our B2B/B2C sales. * Knowledge or direct experience with relevant sales enablement technologies constitutive of an effective technology stack including, but not limited to, CRM, LMS, content and data management applications, cloud, AI and ML automation tools, product demo tools, outreach and survey tools etc. * Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project. * Comfort with ambiguous, constantly evolving situations. Openness to experimenting with new approaches and testing hypotheses. * Proficient digital literacy with MS Suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to stakeholders, top management executives, and the broader employee community.
