Commissions Manager

As a commissions manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Industrial Scientific’s commission and incentive procedures. You will monitor commissions against plan and partner with key customers as the subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of plan design, maintenance, and hierarchy setup required for commission eligible employees

• Configure, test, and administer commission software

• Liaise with sales, marketing, HR, and management to support the rollout of new or updated commissions and incentives

• Deliver training and documentation

• Assist sales and finance in reconciliation of sales credit and commissions

• Build and distribute performance reports and dashboards

• Analyze and adjust transactions to ensure accuracy – research and resolve commission-related inquires from sales team

• Partner with key collaborators when necessary to ensure accurate booking of more complex orders

• Perform duties as subject matter expert regarding commission system functionality

• Evaluate commission plans and processes to drive enhancements, standardization, and efficiency initiatives

• Effectively communicate process or policy deficiencies to management and actively partner with key customers to implement change

• Own distributors point-of-sale reports

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years experience of dedicated commission and variable compensation experience

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience

• Experience with sales commission software

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM

• Familiarity with Oracle ERP

• Must be innovative, resourceful and optimize use of available resources

• Must be adaptable and able to adjust to multiple demands with urgency, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change

• Demonstrated commitment to profession ethical standards

  Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CaptivateIQ

• Basic SQL
