Job Title: Field Engineer

Job Description

• We are currently hiring field or project engineers to work on a variety of projects, including sanitary and storm sewers, wastewater facilities, water distribution facilities, site work, and grading.

• The role involves acting as a liaison between the client, contractor, and the office engineer.

• Key responsibilities include being the onsite engineering representative, observing and reporting work to ensure it meets specifications, completing daily construction reports, resolving onsite issues, and conducting field observations for payment quantification and recordkeeping.

Skills

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent

• Field work experience

• Environmental Engineering

• Effective communication

• Attention to detail

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule - 1 day a week at home.

• The role requires being in the field for 6-18 months depending on project progress, with the opportunity to transition into a designer role.

• Daily travel to project sites within a 50-mile radius of Pittsburgh, using personal vehicle with mileage reimbursements.
