POSITION SUMMARY: The Case Manager Facilitator is a hybrid position for the Fatherhood FIRE program. The Case Manager Facilitator's primary responsibility is to facilitate the NFI's (National Fatherhood Initiative) 24/7 Dad curriculum workshops both in person and virtually. The Case Manager Facilitator will create a working relationship with the participants in the assigned cohort, serve as the point of contact for the participants, complete and update any necessary service planning documents, and attend in-person and virtual workshops. In addition, the Case Manager Facilitator will regularly update the federal management information system for all cohort participants and requests, secure and distribute all benchmark incentives. Team role assignments will vary between cohorts. The Case Manager Facilitator, in partnership with the rest of the service team, will participate in activities designed to engage the participants from interest in the program through job retention. Those activities include recruitment, intake, enrollment, needs assessment, documentation, exit surveys, and incentives.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:  * Participate in the recruitment of potential program participants and assist in completion of enrollment paperwork, as appropriate.  * Conduct on-going meetings with participants to ensure quality service delivery and conduct progress reviews of goals in accordance with program/contract guidelines.  * Support participants in securing resources and/or services necessary to move towards goal attainment and throughout retention period.  * Work jointly with funding partners, such as Duquesne University, to arrange participant interviews and conclusion of workshops.  * Facilitate Father-centered workshops (in person and virtually) focusing on the needs of participant(s).  * Interview participants individually, with families, or in groups, assessing their situations, capabilities, and problems to determine what services may be required to meet their needs.  * Organize events to promote fatherhood and healthy relationship activities.  * Engage in community outreach and recruitment efforts; build new community relationships and maintain established partnerships for the recruitment of participants.  * Maintain up-to-date, accurate records for all participants, meeting timelines as specified by contract and agency management.  * Input into tracking systems and maintain all information related to participant activity as needed.

Status: Full-time

Location: Lawrenceville Workforce Development Center: 118 52nd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 1520

External Hiring Range: $37,960.00 up to $39,478.40/year

Retention Bonus: $1,500 after successfully completing six months of employment, and $1,500 after successfully completing one year of employment.

Schedule: Monday through Friday including evenings and occasional weekends. Schedule may vary depending on department needs.

Travel Required: Yes, travel to Goodwill locations in Southwestern Pennsylvania may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:  * High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of experience required. OR  * Associate degree AND 4 years of experience required. OR  * Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of experience required. OR  * Master's degree AND No experience required. 

Required Degree(s): Education, Teaching, Psychology, Rehabilitation Science, Social Work, Social Services, or related field.

Required Experience: Experience working with individuals/families with barriers to mployment required.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:  * Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.  * Candidates must have or be willing to obtain the COVID vaccine prior to the first day of employment.
