Carpenter

 

Carpenter duties include but are not limited to: 1. Renovate or build new items as requested may involve the following: - Install new ceilings - Erect walls ---Install doors ---Install floor tiles or carpeting ---Build furniture such as counters, cabinets, shelves, seating and landscape furniture ---Use any equipment or materials required to complete task ---Use equipment to clean up work area after performing tasks Install electronic door hardware. Install bathroom partitions and fixtures 2. Maintain or repair items as requested may involve the following ---Assess job to determine appropriate repair procedures ---Remove or cut away damaged areas of walls, floor tiles, carpeting or ceilings safely using correct equipment ---Dispose of debris properly and safely ---Repair or replace materials as needed ---Remove and replace door locks ---Produce new keys and issue to approved personnel ---Repair damaged furniture ---Transporting items to shop may be required ---Clean up work area A carpenter may have to work in extreme hot or cold conditions

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

A drivers license is required.
