Spang & Company has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst *at its headquarters in *Pittsburgh, PA. This position will play a critical role in delivering successful solutions by partnering with business groups and the other IT staff to improve Spang's operational agility through optimizing the usage of the ERP system, enhancing the organization's Business Intelligence capabilities, and ensuring timely, simple and consistent reporting is delivered to stakeholders as needed.

Through the work of three unique product lines, we design, produce, and supply precision soft magnetic components and materials to the electronics industry and custom-engineered solutions to the power industry.

Primary responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders, process specialists, and business groups to elicit and document requirements, translating non-technical requirements into technical business requirements, and recommending system and process improvements. This position will manage the configuration and setup of ERP and BI-related solutions, perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports and BI Solutions, and analyze system activity by assessing system utilization, employee productivity, and trends among key quality attributes.

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred. Candidates must have 5 -- 10 years of functional experience working with ERP systems and custom reporting/BI solutions. IFS Applications experience is strongly preferred.
