Description

Pittsburg client is in need of an onsite Property Administrator in their housing department to assist with recertifications.

Duties for this position will include requesting documents from tenants, income rent calculations, data entry, and customer service.

Ideal experience for this Property Administrator candidate would be case management, affordable housing, recertification.

Technical skills: Yardi, HUD

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Property Administration role or similar

• Proficiency in using Yardi property management software

• Familiarity with HUD and Section 8 housing regulations

• Knowledge and understanding of Fair Housing and Fair Housing Law

• Experience in Residential Property management

• Basic office skills such as filing, scheduling, and record keeping

• Ability to operate basic office equipment like printers, photocopiers, and scanners

• Proven experience in Administrative Assistance roles

• Proficient in MS Word and other Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to interpret and implement property-related legal documents and contracts

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants, maintenance teams, and property owners

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• High degree of professionalism and discretion, as this role involves handling sensitive and confidential information

• Proactive problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
