Position Title: 8th Grade Volleyball Coach

Location: Pinconning Middle School, 605 W Fifth St, Pinconning, MI

Pinconning Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Volleyball Coach to join our  dynamic athletic team. The Volleyball Coach will be responsible for coaching and guiding middle school  students in games, fostering their athletic development, and instilling values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and  discipline.

Responsibilities: - Provide instruction and guidance in games to enhance student athletes' skills and performance. - Organize and oversee regular practice sessions to prepare students for games and competitions.  - Prepare students for games and competitions, including strategy development and mental preparation. - Monitor and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support for improvement. - Promote a positive and inclusive team culture, emphasizing sportsmanship and respect for fellow  athletes. - Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure safety standards are met during practice sessions  and competitions. - Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the athletic department to ensure effective communication  and support for student athletes. - Support the overall well-being and academic success of student athletes, serving as a mentor and role  model beyond the game.

Requirements: - Previous coaching experience in Volleyball, preferably at the middle school level. - Extensive knowledge of various Volleyball events, training methods, and safety practices. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and fellow staff  members. - Passion for youth development and an understanding of the physical and emotional needs of middle  school students. - Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive athletic environment that promotes personal growth  and teamwork. - Relevant certifications and a clear background check are required.
