Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in Pilesgrove, New Jersey. The selected candidate will be part of a team working in a dynamic environment, taking on various responsibilities to ensure smooth project operations.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the project team has adequate support to work efficiently.

• Process and maintain accurate records of customer applications and inquiries.

• Generate and track badges for site personnel, ensuring the safety and security of the job site.

• Collaborate with the safety officer to assign safety gear and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

• Maintain a consistent schedule, with the flexibility to accommodate weather-related changes.

• Demonstrate basic computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Check in personnel on site and confirm their identities using a database.

• Participate in the creation and monitoring of project schedules and project budgets.

• Assist in the planning and the coordination of team activities, including meetings and team communications.

• Ensure the front desk is manned at all times, coordinating lunch and break schedules with other team members.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience in project coordination or management is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
