    Job Summary

  • Perform clerical duties: answer phones, take and relay messages, schedule patients, fax, and file documents. Assist with errands for department staff.

  • Assist in departmental work and visitor flow escorting patients and families between departments.

  • Perform appropriate supportive care for patients under the direction of a nurse. Accompany patient to exam room and assess vital signs, perform EKGs, and transport specimens to lab.

  • Coordinate patient, maintenance, or repair services from other departments under direction from nurse.

  • Clean and restock exam rooms and patient care equipment.

    Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Must be at least 16 years old.

  • Previous work in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) registry preferred but not required.

  • BLS within 30 days of start date.

    Work Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday 8-5pm. Fridays 8-12, occas hol; 72hrs/2wks

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
