Overview and Essential Functions

A successful Project Manager Ops in cable construction, will be responsible for the overall management of multiple projects and will focus on high levels of planning, delegation, and more. The Project Manager Ops requires leadership skills including team building and management across projects. A Project Manager Ops focuses on developing project objectives and strategies by assessing how it will impact their department, project, or organization. For each project, they will define and oversee the people and processes needed to reach their targeted goals. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of the telecommunications industry; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project;• Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance;• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project;• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project;

  • recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain talent for team building & development;

  • the ability to manage multiple projects to completion;• the ability to function effectively in a high-stress situation;

  • the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of related work experience in cable construction.

  • Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
