Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on an Estimator. This individual will be joining the Custom Engineering division.

Prepare work to be estimated by gathering project specifications, prints, and related documents

Analyze prints and project details

Manage project lists and vendor requests

Input labor and material costs into database and/or excel

Present estimates to management and other stakeholders

Continually review work instructions and manuals

Compensation:

$25/hr to $30/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

HS Diploma or GED

 1-3 years of manufacturing, automotive or packaging estimation or cost experience

 Proficient with Microsoft Office

o Basic Excel

 Ability to read and interpret technical documents

 Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

 Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

 Strong organization and time management skills

 Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

 Ability to interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications accurately Associates

 SAP experience null
