Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Pico Rivera, California

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to be based in Pico Rivera, California. The role involves managing customer interactions, data entry, and order processing in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, ensuring customer inquiries are resolved satisfactorily.

• Greet customers at the doors and guide them as needed.

• Log all incoming orders into a daily log, prepare jackets, and distribute them to the respective Customer Service Representative.

• Confirm all incoming orders to customers within a timely manner.

• Organize job jackets into their designated file cabinet for easy retrieval.

• Generate sales orders and delivery tickets, adjusting or creating parts as necessary.

• Enter sales orders into the system and print sales orders/delivery tickets.

• Log all completed backend and sales orders for record-keeping.

• Perform backend tasks such as creating production tickets with box specifications, creating load tags, and making additional copies for production.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and email correspondence tasks.

Skills:

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service.

• Experience in a call center environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills.

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Experience in order entry and scheduling appointments. Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role

• Proficient in answering inbound calls

• Experience in a call center customer service environment

• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Skilled in email correspondence, maintaining professionalism and timely responses

• Familiarity with handling both inbound and outbound calls

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience with order entry systems and processes

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints or issues effectively

• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
