Job Title: Licensed Millwright / Electrician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Licensed Millwright or Electrician to perform preventative maintenance and repair work on all factory equipment. The role involves making a wide range of repairs mechanically and electrically to the facility/building, and working on special projects related to production equipment and the facility.

Hard Skills

• Licensed Millwright and/or Electrician

• Manufacturing experience in maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment

• Facilities maintenance

• Ability to operate machining and welding equipment

• Familiarity with vacuum technology

• Ability to read and follow schematics and equipment drawings

Soft Skills

• Flexibility to rotate shifts

• Adaptability in rough industrial environments

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pickering, Ontario.

Work Environment

The position requires working in a well-lit, rough industrial environment that can be a little dirty. Shifts rotate between days (6:30am-3pm), afternoons (3:30pm-11pm), and nights (11pm-7am) every two weeks. The environment includes fans for ventilation and extra breaks during extremely hot conditions.
