Our client in the financial services industry is seeking a Technical PM to join their team.

Job Title: Technical PM, Platform Development

Location: Hybrid/Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead diversified, hybrid teams of developers and Quality Engineers (QE) for feature deliveries involving GitHub and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in managing enterprise cloud platform projects and championing Agile methodologies to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including developers and QE, to deliver high-quality features in GitHub and GitHub Actions.

  • Champion Agile practices to ensure the team follows Scrum or Kanban frameworks, promoting continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful feature deliveries.

  • Oversee the integration and optimization of GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and other version control tools.

  • Drive the adoption of GitHub Actions to streamline workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

  • Work closely with enterprise cloud platform teams to manage and deliver cloud-based solutions.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to implement and manage firewall configurations, ensuring secure deployments.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

  • Utilize strong project management skills to track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex technical requirements into actionable tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager managing hybrid teams of developers and QEs.

  • Expertise in Git and related tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, SVN).

  • Strong understanding of GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, with the ability to champion and drive Agile practices.

  • Experience managing enterprise cloud platform projects.

  • Solid knowledge of firewall configurations and network security protocols.

  • Technical proficiency in Java, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and related technologies.

  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Experience in managing enterprise cloud platform projects that involved the following:

  • Agile Champion

  • Firewall

  • Git (Github, GitLab, Bitbucket, SVN)

  • Java

  • Jenkins

  • Kubernetes
