Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Sr. - Corporate in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is within the financial industry, focusing on the preparation and review of tax return and workpaper for federal, state, and local income and franchise tax compliance. You will be part of a team that actively assists in researching and structuring corporate business transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of detailed computations and forms supporting the US federal and state consolidated income tax returns.

• Assume primary responsibility for federal, state, and local income and franchise tax compliance, including tax return and workpaper preparation, and review.

• Collaborate with the Director of Tax and Legal Department in researching and structuring corporate business transactions.

• Manage the state compliance process, including estimated payments, extensions, audits, and tax return preparation.

• Understand corporate restructurings and determine their impact on compliance.

• Create and validate data used in the compliance process, such as with apportionment or state modifications, fixed asset reconciliations, and depreciation adjustments.

• Facilitate the minimization of corporate exposure on all forms of taxation.

• Review, research, and respond to tax notices, audits, and other various tax issues that may arise for corporate entities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Utilize your 10 - Key Accounting skills to ensure accurate and efficient processing. Requirements • Job title is Tax Sr. - Corporate.

• Must possess strong analytical skills to interpret and evaluate complex information.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

• Must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Must have a thorough understanding of corporate tax laws and regulations.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are necessary.

• Must be detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in using tax software and other related financial software is required.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is necessary.

• Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is preferred.

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

• Must adhere to professional standards and maintain confidentiality.

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to exercise good judgement.
