Honeywell Sr IT Manager - TMO Aero Separation in Phoenix, Arizona
Position Overview:
Honeywell is seeking an experienced Senior Manager who will play a critical role in the strategic separation and management of GRE capabilities, General AI solutions, and Portfolio Management practices for our Aerospace division into an independent company. This role will ensure seamless integration and operational excellence while driving innovation and efficiency. Your expertise in technology, project management, and strategic planning will be essential for providing direction in these key areas to ensure a seamless transition and operational readiness for the newly formed entity.
Key Responsibilities:
GRE Capabilities:
o Support strategic planning for site dispositions and physical separation with GRE & HGS.
o Identify project requirements for building management related to physical separation.
o Collaborate with GRE IT Service Owner to develop plans & estimates for physical separations
o Oversee program of GRE IT projects to ensure alignment with separation strategy.
o Define and implement GRE operational processes requiring Digital IT systems.
o Manage the operational separation of GRE Digital IT capabilities from business units.
o Develop and maintain documentation for GRE Digital IT capabilities.
General AI Solutions:
Lead the identification and implementation of Gen AI solutions that enhance business operations.
Work closely with technology teams to assess the current state of AI capabilities and recommend enhancements.
Oversee the collaboration between AI development teams and business units to ensure alignment and integration.
Portfolio Management:
Establish and refine portfolio management processes to optimize business strategy execution.
Monitor and evaluate project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies related to portfolio initiatives.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for GRE capabilities, Gen AI solutions, and portfolio management practices.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on progress and initiatives.
Analyze data to provide insight into performance trends and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in project management, technology management, or related fields.
Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of GRE capabilities and Gen AI technology.
Skills:
